The 2011 World’s Strongest Man will be the 34th edition of World’s Strongest Man and is scheduled to be held on the campus grounds of Wingate University in Wingate, North Carolina, USA. Brian Shaw has qualified for The MET-Rx World’s Strongest Man held this year at Wingate University.
Qualifiers will be held between 15th and 18th September and the final between 21st and 22nd September.
We just read in today’s Denver Post that you won the championship at the competition at Wingate University last week. We couldn’t be prouder of you, Brian. You have worked so hard, and we’re glad to see your dreams coming true for you!
Brian, Im a powerlifter and fireman from Indiana whose dabbling in strongman training now. Its insanely difficult….just wanted to say congrats on winning the WSM title for USA! couldnt have went to a more humble, well rounded and hard working athlete…great show Brian!!

As long as you compete , there will be many more wins for the USA. Europe will lose its stronghold in strongman for good.
