Born in rural Colorado, Brian rose from humble beginnings to the pinnacle of Strongman. His early basketball career taught him that discipline beats talent and hard work drives results. When the path in basketball came to an end, Strongman became his obsession and purpose to challenge every fiber in his body and achieve his own personal greatness.

Four-time World’s Strongest Man and Two-time Strongest Man on Earth. Brian has a legacy built on discipline and domination.

Few athletes have ever achieved what Brian Shaw has in the sport of Strongman. Despite countless doubters, he pushed forward with unwavering focus, capturing his first World’s Strongest Man title in 2011, the first of four world titles.

His career culminated in 2023 with his crowning win at the Strongest Man on Earth competition, where he officially retired from Strongman competition as one of the sport’s all-time greats.
